Certifiable Organic Fertilizers
Organic farming has quadrupled since 1990, according to the USDA. But Fertrell’s organic products aren’t just a trend. The company started in 1946, making it the country’s oldest producer of organic fertilizer.
Since then, Fertrell has built a reputation for quality and service that’s second to none. Each product is built upon years of experience and time-tested for maximum results. Unlike chemical fertilizers, which can raise the soil’s acidity and slow natural decomposition, Fertrell products are proven safe and effective. Just like nature intended.
Fertrell strives to provide its customers with high-quality products in conventional, all natural and certified organic forms. Fertrell’s certifiable organic products are compliant with the National Organic Standards Federal Rule.

Blue Label Fertilizers Mineral depletion isn’t just a plant problem—it causes deficiencies throughout the food chain. To combat this, Fertrell has developed and refined the Blue Label line. Each Blue Label fertilizer is a unique mix of untreated rock powders and activators that contain secondary nutrients (calcium, magnesium and sulfur) and many trace elements. These balanced blends offer broad spectrum, time-released plant nutrients that produce excellent yields. Blue Label fertilizers are intended for broadcast application. |
| Fertrell Blue Label. This blend of rock powders and activators emphasizes time-released phosphorus and potassium. Its secondary nutrients and trace minerals make it an excellent soil builder for areas of low fertility, or where nutrient maintenance is needed. Blue Label is specifically formulated for broadcast application on hay fields, pastures or as a plow-down for corn when used in fall applications to condition soil and boost nutrients. Blue Label’s activators help stimulate microbial activity. Typical analysis: 1-1-1. |

Fertrell Blue Hi K. An extension of our Blue Label formula, Fertrell Blue Hi K has increased potassium specially formulated for crops that require a high level of potash. These include alfalfa, corn silage and vegetables. Blue Hi K corrects low potassium in areas where potassium would be the first limiting factor in crop production. This multi-nutrient fertilizer provides a broad spectrum of plant nutrients, and is more convenient and efficient than applying single ingredients. Blue Hi K’s potash ingredients are not highly leachable, so there’s no need to worry about high salt content. Typical analysis: 1-1-2.

Fertrell Blue N. This advanced Blue Label formula provides time-released nitrogen in a multi-nutrient fertilizer. Blue N is specially formulated for crops that require more nitrogen when manures and legume rotations are used minimally. When broadcast and plowed under or worked into the soil, Blue N maximizes growth and finishes strong. If the soil’s phosphorous levels are low, a starter fertilizer should be used in conjunction with this product. Typical analysis: 5-1-1.

Gold Label Fertilizers
Gold Label Fertilizers are designed as starter fertilizers for row applications. These organic, natural blends are somewhat specialized in function, making them perfect for fulfilling your crops’ specific needs. |
|
Gold Starter Special. The readily-available phosphorous in this starter or "pop-up" fertilizer speeds germination and promotes fast, vigorous growth. Gold Starter Special works well in areas with a short growing season or during the wet season on heavier soils. When applied in a band, Gold Starter Special is most effective in soils with low to medium phosphorus levels. Use it as a starter over a wide variety of crops, especially corn, small grains and seed beds. Gold Starter Special is also perfect for places that require strong root growth. Typical analysis: 2-4-2.
