Fertrell's Organic Tobacco Program

Organic tobacco is one of an organic farm's most valuable cash crops per acre. While it can take a lot of time and effort to grow organic tobacco successfully, we are here to help make it a little easier. In order to do this, we created an Organic Tobacco Program. This program will help fertilize your organic tobacco crops as well as provide them with disease and insect control.

Our Tobacco Special Fertilizer will be a part of 2017 Early Order Fertilizer Discounts!

So remember to order early and save!

Pyganic 5.0 --> PyGanic provides immediate insect control for organic farming. PyGanic Crop Protection was specially developed for Producers of Certified Organic Crops, providing immediate control of more than 40 insects, on over 200 crops. Its active ingredient is pyrethrum, a botanical extract from a species of the chrysanthemum plant family. Pyrethrum provides fast knockdown and control a of a broad spectrum of crop-damaging insects, such as aphids, leafhoppers, thrips, mites, beetles,
Lepidoptera and whitefly.

Liquid Kelp --> Not considered a fertilizer, as the amounts of NP&K are relatively low, but it contains all the micro-elements from A to Z; growth plant hormones, vitamins, enzymes and carbohydrates. It’s a biostimulant, root system developer, and minor-nutrient deficiency cure. It can be used in conjunction with any water soluble spray. Reduce herbicide use by adding liquid kelp, yet maintain the same kill effectiveness.

Procidic --> Procidic is an agricultural bactericide and fungicide compound formulated to protect crops during all stages of growth. In addition to providing an alternative to toxic fungicides, Procidic works as a bactericide that fends off the nasty affects of bacteria such as Bacterial Spot and Goss’s Bacterial Wilt on corn as a either a preventative or when disease is present. It has proven to be highly effective on a broad variety of row crops, it has the ability to reduce biotic (pests) and abiotic (weather) stressors that reduce yield.

Oxidate --> To prevent disease, you’ve got to kill spores. This broad-spectrum bactericide and fungicide kills existing decease and spores on contact.

Regalia --> Regalia is made from a natural plant extract, Regalia triggers the natural defense system of plants to protect against a variety of bacterial and fungal diseases including bacterial spot, downy mildew, powdery mildew, early blight, late blight, target spot, botrytis, gummy stem blight, and many others. When treated with Regalia, the defense systems of plants are ‘switched on’ to protect against attacking diseases. Research proves that plants treated with Regalia produce and accumulate elevated levels of specialized proteins and other compounds known to inhibit fungal and bacterial diseases. Regalia induces a plant to produce phytoalexins, cell strengtheners, antioxidants, phenolics, and PR  proteins, which are all known inhibitors of plant pathogens. Regalia is rainfast in only one hour, so growers can get important sprays out and protect crops even in tough weather, or when moisture conditions threaten to rapidly spread disease.
Regalia carries a re-entry interval (REI) of only four hours, so you can get back in the field quickly. With a zero day pre-harvest interval (PHI), growers can now protect crops right up to harvest. Approved for organic growers, Regalia’s extensive label with over 100 crops and uses, and is labeled for greenhouse use.

Natures Avenger Ag --> A natural citrus oil based herbicide designed to meet the demands and needs of homeowners and businesses looking for an alternative to synthetic herbicides. Nature’s Avenger is fast acting - often seeing visible results in 2 hours or less! Dead weeds or grass the next day. Tested against the leading synthetic herbicide glysophate, Nature’s Avenger has proven to be just as effective, but faster acting. Tested against other organic or “natural” products on the market approved for certified
organic production.
